I have been working on Maxmus again..
Good news - I have gotten the messages to autoscroll after you select a chat with new messages in it!
... eventually,... 
method wasn't the best, but it works, and only took me about 5 min 
- Added a textbox that shows a contacts number (and is selectable) when you right click that contact..
- Added a "find user in tech" menu. not sure how exactly this is going to work with users who don't have tech as a contact.. lol
I'm working on other stuff in my free time. If you have any unique ideas that you would like to see in the app, (am not thinking about ideas like emoticon menu's here, more like "find user in tech" and "autoreplies" and "multichat") then please post it into the appropriate thread! thanks.
ANyway, I felt like spilling the beans, and thought this would be a good place to do so.
